These terms govern the event-reminder text-message program ("the Program") operated by Howarth Tech Solutions on behalf of American Legion posts that use Legion Post Websites. By opting in you agree to these terms.
Message frequency: varies — typically a few messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply.
How you opt in
You are added to a post's reminder list only when you ask that post to add you. When a post officer adds you, you receive a single confirmation text asking you to reply YES. You will not receive any reminders unless you reply YES. This is your express consent to receive recurring informational text messages from your post.
How to get help or opt out
- Reply HELP at any time for help, or contact support@legionpostwebsites.com.
- Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
What we send
Messages are strictly informational — reminders about your post's meetings and events. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this Program.
Cost
We do not charge for the messages. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates may apply depending on your plan.
Carriers & delivery
Message delivery is subject to your carrier's network and is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy. No mobile information or opt-in data is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
